Chanukah Fayre
This is our annual Chanukah Fayre. A very popular community event. Here’s a brief overview: We will have up to 9 tables of items and this year we’ll have a tombola and raffle. Holocaust Memorial Day
The number of events and services has been increasing around Norfolk and elsewhere, encouraging everyone to remember and stand together to spread the need to stop division and hatred. In Norwich a public service of remembrance for the Holocaust is to take place at St Peter Mancroft Church. Heritage Open Day
NLJC will be joining NHC as part of the Norfolk Heritage Open Days to welcome the community to visit the Norwich Synagogue on Earlham Road. This will an opportunity to see the synagogue building, ask questions about Judaism, and learning more about the history of Jews in Norwich. Interfaith Sukkot
Please join us to celebrate Simchat Sukkot v’Torah at the Old Meeting House. Holocaust Memorial Day Service
Please join us for the Holocaust Memorial Day Service on Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m. St Peter Mancroft, Norwich 10:50 for 11 a.m. The service represents a collaboration between the City Council, St Peter Mancroft Church and the Jewish Community. NLJC will be represented by Student Rabbi Hannah Altorf and students from Aaron’s school will be participating, so please do come to remember and to reflect during these troubled times. Tikkun Olam.
